BUILDING A SOLID FOUNDATION IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR YOUR CHILD.

It is with great pleasure and a sense of humility to communicate our vision to you through this medium. We sincerely beseech you to take a little time out of your busy schedule to read through this letter.

Sequel to our triumph so far as an established Cambridge Approved School in Ibadan accorded with merited awards of many kinds both local and international. We are delighted to introduce our latest inclusion of the senior secondary version known as The Elects’ School of Science and Technology (TESST Academy), from SS1 to SS3.

The Elects’ School of Science and Technology(TESST Academy) is saddled with the responsibility of teaching pure science subjects and providing 21st-century Science practical knowledge like Programming, Robotic science, Artificial Intelligence, and Software development needed by the students to compete favorably in this fast-changing world of science and technologies.

Parents are hereby encouraged to afford their children this golden opportunity by registering their wards with us. Our school has maintained an excellent academic, moral, and spiritual standard for the past 15 years. Being a two times Cambridge award-winning school, we promise to bring the best out of your child.

Our manner of academic operations targets the three folds holistic approach which embodies the spiritual aspect, academic aspect, and moral upbringing of this present 21st-century generation of adolescents with proper sets of instructions given to propel them into a devoted academic awareness right from their orientation into the schooling environment. Our school forbids the usage of gadgets in the school by our students except the ones provided by the school for computer-based assessment for learning (CBAFL). Our school has a centralized monitor installation that will welcome any incoming calls or messages from parents to their wards with proper delivery.

With the vision of training our students to be academically relevant in all spheres of life, our school has adopted the best practices in terms of a well structured curriculum with a mixture of both Nigerian and International standards. Consequently, our students will be well prepared to excel brilliantly in both the local and the international exams like:

1. WAEC & NECO;
2. International General Secondary Certificate Education (IGSCE);
3. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT); and
4. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Furthermore, for proper and accurate mentorship of our students, we have an  equipped and standardized hostel facilities for them to be closely monitored for strict preparation for the above-mentioned local and international qualified examinations at their terminal class.

Moreover, our school (being a Cambridge Approved School), has a well-equipped  Science Laboratories (for Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Electronic Library and ICT room for the 21st-century training in Computer programming, Software development, Artificial intelligence & Robotic Science.

Considering the mammoth of distractions and the busy schedules of the parents and guardians which always have negative impact on the academic, moral and spiritual upbringing of a child, we, therefore recommend the hostel (boarding school) facilities for your ward. Below are the reasons why your child should be in our boarding facilities:

1. Our boarding school encourages learning independence and inculcates reading culture into our students by making studies a priority through a routine reading time table.

2. Our teachers are fully accessible for our student’s tutoring and mentorship.

3. Our boarding school negates the idea of an intimate relationship between students (boyfriend-girlfriend relationship).

4. Our boarding school has standby security personnel and closed monitored CCTV cameras to ensure adequate security and good conducts of our students at all time.

5. Our hostel has a common room with satellite dish facilities for our students to be current on the situations happening around the world by having access to watch BBC, Aljezera, CNN, TVC, Channels, etc.

6. Our students in the hostel do not have access to personal gadgets (e.g. phones, laptops, etc) in order to avoid distractions and ensure full concentration on their studies.

7. Our students have full access to participate in religious activities in accordance with their religion. This help in the development of their creative abilities in the kingdom establishment and spiritual development.

In conclusion, we encourage our dear parents/guardians to reflect on the above information and begin to take step to register your children in our School of Science and Technology before the commencement of the new session in September.  Our school’s Registration Office located at Ajao Bus stop, beside Bovas Filling station, Off Ojoo/Iwo road Express way, Agbowo Express, Ibadan, is open from Monday through Saturday, from 8am till 6pm.
